An
ancient convent from the 1300’s, the farmhouse
is situated in the Chianti area, an ideal location
for visiting the most well-known art centers such as Siena
(8 km), Florence (60 km), Monteriggioni
(10 km), San Gimignano (30 km), Volterra
(50 km). The completely restructured farmhouse offers
3 apartments, all of them redone using biological
materials such as cork, handmade terracotta salvaged from the ancient
building, and wooden beams and joists. All of the apartments
are furnished in the local farmhouse style. The farmhouse
“La Rocca della Magione”, surrounded by the green hillsides
of Siena 330 meters above sea level, boasts a splendid
panorama.
On our farm we produce our own wine and olive oil.
Our grounds offer walks and bicycle riding, with several stables nearby
for horseback riding.
